New technologies play an indisputable role in mitigating climate change. It is with this vision that the Government has funded innovative and sustainable projects. This is the case of Notice 4, "Implementation of pilot projects of living labs for decarbonization and mitigation of climate change", included in the "Environment, Climate Change and Low Carbon Economy Program", which emerged from a 2017 Memorandum of Understanding between the Government and the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area. In this theme dedicated to technology and innovation, Ambiente Magazine has chosen this Notice, sharing some of the projects and their importance in decarbonization.
