Focuses on exploring a combination of complementary solutions rather than single solutions, with the applied solutions resulting from a selection of global best practices that have demonstrated real returns to society

The digital platform that allows orchestrating all the operations and new concepts introduced;

Portugal needs to improve...

Our country is currently one of the countries in the world with the most green policies. However, even with all these efforts it still suffers from some gaps, especially in the area of freight transport, as Portugal is currently in 22nd place in Europe according to the business magazine 2021/22.

This problem needs to be addressed because our health also depends on it.
Fortunately there are different ways around this situation in order to pollute our atmosphere less and less. So the alternatives are to change the means of transport used or to use efficient logistics.

But then what is efficient logistics?

In short, logistical efficiency is an optimization of its performance in order to minimize errors and costs. Currently, the character of efficient logistics has evolved to another level, and logistics that add importance to the reduction of pollutant gases emitted into the atmosphere are also considered efficient.

In our particular case, efficient logistics involves reducing the number of trips that need to be made. And this is where our project comes into play.

A journey together...

In partnership with Delta Post we were able to create a solution for this problem. In a nutshell, all orders made for the participating parishes will be delivered to a specific sorting point and from that point the orders will be gathered in order to minimize the number of trips needed during the day. But don't worry, you will receive your order on the same day it was dropped off. Our goal is to decrease the ecological footprint and not to leave you more time waiting for your order. And no, this type of orders will not be compatible, for now, with meal deliveries where speed is the most important thing.
