The Centre for Research in Architecture, Urbanism and Design (CIAUD) of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FA/Ulisboa) was established in 2006 with the main objective of promoting the advancement of scientific, technological and artistic knowledge in the fields of Architecture, Urbanism, Design and Ergonomics, interacting with other disciplinary areas. To these ends, the Center has the task of helping researchers identify funding lines, elaborate research proposals and manage fundamental and applied research projects in emerging areas
